After purchasing two black fabrics I struggled to decide what to make with it. In the end I chose this larger pieced basket block using a muslin background to accentuate the basket. This is beautifully machine quilted with a feather border. This quilt is featured in my book Free Range Triangle Quilts, Marston/Jones, AQS Publishing, 2015. A single narrow binding with miter corners and hanging sleeve complete the composition. 55” X 70”.
